Installation & Assembly Guide

If any component is missing or damaged, contact MiFIRE Customer Support before assembly.

• ✓Carefully unpack every component
• ✓Verify that all parts listed in the product documentation are included
• ✓Inspect each component for transport damage
• ✓Do not assemble or use a damaged product
• ✓Keep packaging materials away from children

To avoid scratching finished surfaces, place a protective blanket or cardboard under the components during assembly.

• ✓Choose a flat and stable surface
• ✓Use a clean working area with adequate space

Required tools depend on the product model. Where tools are supplied, use them where appropriate. Do not use power tools unless specifically instructed because excessive tightening may damage fixings or threads.

• ✓Adjustable spanner or wrench
• ✓Allen or hex keys
• ✓Screwdriver
• ✓Protective work gloves

Do not attempt assembly if you are unsure about any step.

• ✓Wear protective gloves when handling metal components
• ✓Be aware that some parts may have sharp edges before assembly
• ✓Lift heavy components with assistance where necessary
• ✓Keep children and pets away from the assembly area

Follow the product-specific instructions supplied with your MiFIRE model. Do not fully tighten bolts until all major components are correctly aligned unless instructed otherwise.

• ✓Lay out every component and identify the fixing hardware
• ✓Assemble the base or legs first
• ✓Install the fire bowl securely
• ✓Attach shelves, accessories or cooking components
• ✓Tighten all fasteners evenly

Do not use the fire pit if any component appears loose or unstable.

• ✓Confirm all bolts are securely tightened
• ✓Check that the fire pit stands level without rocking
• ✓Ensure accessories are correctly fitted
• ✓Inspect the product for visible defects

Install the fire pit only in a suitable outdoor location that is well ventilated, open to the sky, stable, level and free from overhead obstructions.

• ✓Do not install beneath trees or low branches
• ✓Avoid roof overhangs and balconies
• ✓Do not use beneath pergolas with combustible roofs

Position the fire pit on concrete, stone, paving slabs, gravel or brick. Improper placement may create a fire hazard or damage surrounding surfaces.

• ✓Do not place on wooden decking without a suitable heat-resistant barrier
• ✓Avoid artificial or natural grass
• ✓Do not place on dry soil or vegetation
• ✓Keep away from plastic surfaces and vinyl flooring

Maintain a minimum distance of 3 metres from combustible surroundings and sufficient overhead clearance to prevent heat or sparks reaching structures or vegetation.

• ✓Buildings and wooden fences
• ✓Garden furniture, trees and shrubs
• ✓Firewood storage and vehicles
• ✓Other combustible materials

If conditions become excessively windy during use, extinguish the fire safely and discontinue operation.

• ✓Avoid exposed windy locations
• ✓Do not position beneath overhanging branches
• ✓Do not place where sparks may travel toward buildings or neighbouring properties

A slight odour, smoke or temporary surface discolouration can occur during the first burn as manufacturing residues burn off. These effects should reduce after initial use.

• ✓Begin with a small fire
• ✓Increase the fire size gradually
• ✓Allow the product to heat evenly
• ✓Avoid overloading with fuel

Once the fire pit has completely cooled, inspect it and retighten bolts if necessary after the first heating cycle.

• ✓Check for loose fasteners
• ✓Confirm stability and correct alignment
• ✓Identify normal heat discolouration
• ✓Look for any unusual deformation

Ensure every accessory is correctly positioned before use. Never install or remove accessories while the fire pit is hot unless designed for adjustment during operation.

• ✓Grill grates and cooking rings
• ✓Shelves and ash trays
• ✓Spark guards and tool holders

Never move the fire pit while it is burning or still hot. Heavy models should be moved by at least two people using appropriate lifting techniques.

• ✓Ensure the fire is fully extinguished
• ✓Allow the product to cool completely
• ✓Remove all ash
• ✓Remove detachable accessories where appropriate

Replace damaged components before using a product that has been stored for the winter.

• ✓Clean the product thoroughly
• ✓Inspect all fasteners and structural corrosion
• ✓Confirm stability
• ✓Ensure drainage openings are clear

If the fire pit rocks, move it to level ground, tighten all bolts and recheck the assembly. If smoke does not rise properly, use dry seasoned wood, build a smaller fire and improve airflow. If lighting is difficult, use dry kindling, build gradually and use approved firelighters.

• ✓Instability may be caused by uneven ground, loose fasteners or incorrect assembly
• ✓Poor smoke flow may be caused by wet wood, restricted airflow or overloading
• ✓Lighting difficulty may be caused by damp fuel, poor fire structure or inadequate kindling

Do not attempt structural repairs yourself. Contact us before use if you notice a potential defect.
